The nascent fern is waiting now for the transformation wrought by the glory that will be revealed in it — the filling and fulfilling that comes from the light of truth.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. I buffet my body and make it my slave, lest possibly, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
